So today is my birthday and I decided what better way to celebrate than to give away a non Wednesday wallpaper. I've been really excited to show this shot to everyone. It's one of my favorite shots that I've ever taken. It's a 45 second exposure of the Milky Way up at trinity lake. The reason you can see the Milky Way so well is because up in the mountains there is far less light pollution than you would get near a city. I had a blast taking this shot. It was really cool just sitting out under the stars trying to get the composition just right. I call the shot Milky Way... I know real original, but what better name could there be, right?
