Wallpaper Wednesday | Trinity Lake | 27 July 2011

Sorry for missing the last two weeks of wallpaper wednesday. Last weekend I was on vacation up near Shasta boating and camping at Trinity Lake. It's absolutely beautiful up there and I was able to get a couple weeks worth of wallpaper wednesday photos. The first two days of our trip it rained on us, which was a bummer for being on the water, but great for photos. I got this shot on a hike just as the rain had stopped. The fog on the mountain makes the shot for me. Obviously a photo can never do the real thing justice, and that's probably debatable, but I hope this photo gives an idea to how beautiful it really is in Northern California.
