Sorry for missing the last two weeks of wallpaper wednesday. Last weekend I was on vacation up near Shasta boating and camping at Trinity Lake. It's absolutely beautiful up there and I was able to get a couple weeks worth of wallpaper wednesday photos. The first two days of our trip it rained on us, which was a bummer for being on the water, but great for photos. I got this shot on a hike just as the rain had stopped. The fog on the mountain makes the shot for me. Obviously a photo can never do the real thing justice, and that's probably debatable, but I hope this photo gives an idea to how beautiful it really is in Northern California. Lake Tahoe Photography | Chris+Lauryn | 8 July 2011

Chris and Lauryn got married last week on a beautiful Friday afternoon in South Lake Tahoe. Their ceremony took place in Zephyr cove. As you can probably tell from many of the photos, Chris and Lauryn are a really fun couple to be around. We had a blast all day, and I'm really thankful I got to work with such fun people. Wallpaper Wednesday | America's Past Time | 6 July 2011

So I've been missing baseball quite a bit lately. It's been a little over a year now since I played my last game and I've only recently started to think about the game I grew up spending every moment thinking about. I figured that since this is the week of the 4th, I would use a photo that had an "American" feel. I realize that baseball may not be America's favorite sport any longer, but it will always be the original American past time.
