Wallpaper Wednesday | Milky Way Volume 2 | 5 October 2011

Hey guys, it's Wallpaper Wednesday again and I've got another Milky Way shot for everyone. I took this in Northern California at Lake Trinity. The colors that the Milky Way put off at night are absolutely amazing to me. It was awesome to be in a location for a week where there was no light pollution. The sky was crystal clear and I've nver seen stars as bright as they were on that trip. This shot is similar to another Wallpaper Wednesday I posted a while back, but there is a big difference in the bottom left corner of the image. The night I took this shot there was a camp fire taking place on the lake's shore and the light from that fire made for an interesting addition to the image. Hope you like it.
