Sacramento Photography | Jon + Christin | E-Shoot

Last week I did an engagement shoot with Jon and Christin. We did the shoot up in the Coloma area and got some really fun stuff. Jon and Christin are good friends of mine and I had a great time working with them. Christin is from Germany, which is awesome, so it was fun hearing all about Germany while we shot. It sounds like a place I might need to visit one of these days. Thanks Jon and Christin for being fantastic in front of a camera. Enjoy!

Wallpaper Wednesday | Mountain Dew | 29 June 2011

I don't like the beverage Mountain Dew, but I do like dew drops on leaves. They make photos look cool. I took this shot at a wedding recently and I thought it turned out well enough for Wallpaper Wednesday. Let me know what you think. If you have any requests for upcoming wallpaper wednesdays, please feel free to drop a comment. If you want to view the full post and download the file head over to www.facebook.com/slp2011 Enjoy!

Jude+Marissa | Chico Wedding Photography | studioTHP

A couple weeks ago I second shot a wedding with studioTHP. It was one of many weddings we have done in Chico, but the first Chico wedding that has been rained on. Jude and Marissa met in front of "The Bear," which is a popular bar in Chico, so we started the day off with their first look in that spot. The weather held off perfectly for most of the day, but as soon as dinner was over it decided to come down really hard. It rained for about an hour, we even did speeches in the rain, and then subsided for the rest of the night. Jude and Marissa had a great attitude throughout the day and made due with the weather they were handed. We had a blast working with them. Congratulations guys, we are excited for you. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day. Enjoy!

Wallpaper Wednesday | Nicaragua | 22 June 2011

This weeks Wallpaper Wednesday is another photo that was taken in Nicaragua. It also just happens to be one of my favorite photos I took on that trip. We were walking the streets of Nueva Vida with some of the people we had met that week and I saw this boy walking all by himself. As soon as I raised my camera to take the photo, he turned and looked at me. His timing couldn't have been more perfect. I wish I could take the credit for the timing, but sometimes in photography it's all about being in the right place at the right time. Feel free to leave a comment if you like the photo... what the heck, feel free to leave a comment no matter what. Also, let me know what you guys want with some of the coming Wallpaper Wednesdays. I want to get some fan input on what you want to see on your walls. If you'd like to see the full post and download the wallpaper head over to www.facebook.com/slp2011 Enjoy!

Wallpaper Wednesday | The Caboose | 15 june 2011

Ok, so a couple of months ago I was in Roseville, CA doing an engagement shoot. The couple was just a tad late and so I decided to take some landscape shots for wallpaper wednesday while I waited. I never ended up using the photo... until now that is, but honestly I had nothing planned for this week so I had to go back into my library to dig something up. I'm really happy with how the final image turned out. It started out kind of bland, but after I added some Nicaraguan clouds to the background, yes those are fake, I definitely think it gained some spunk. So, without further ado, here is this weeks Free wallpaper. You're welcome. If you'd like to download the full file, please head over to the facebook fan page. www.facebook.com/slp2011 Enjoy!

Tyson+Andy | Action Sports Photography | 10 June 2011

My brother and his friend Andy, both of whom have appeared on the blog before... (see my cigar photography post) wanted me to come shoot them skateboarding. We had a lot of fun creating some cool images at the local skatepark... and come to find out, my brother is a lot better at skateboarding than I thought. I'm really excited with how some of these photos turned out. Enjoy!
