Erik+Julie | Grocery Store E-Shoot | 5 May 2011
I've always wanted to do an engagement shoot in a grocery store. All the rows and isles in any grocery store have great potential for creating depth and focus on a subject in an image. Erik and Julie are a really fun couple and we have become great friends. For their engagement photos they wanted something different, something that hadn't been done before, something unique. Through getting to know them, I found they have a love of friends, and family (who doesn't), but more importantly from a photo standpoint, food and more specifically dinner parties. So, with those things in mind I pitched the idea to do their photo session in a grocery store. Surprisingly they loved the idea, which was great for me because it was something I had always wanted to do. Thanks Erik and Julie. So, we got permission from the Nugget Market in El Dorado Hills and made our dreams reality. Hope you like the photos, I'm really happy with how they turned out. Enjoy!
